Install Plugin On WordPress

How To Install Plugin Automatically

Install Plugin

To install plugin on WordPress is very simple. The difficult part is choosing the right combination of plugins to help build your blog without slowing down the speed of the load time of your site.

Many people believe that more is better but I would have to disagree. I like to keep my blogs as streamlined as possible. With that said there are some, in my opinion, plugins that are must-haves. I am not going to go into all of the details or the why’s of the plugins I use…not today anyway. What I am going to do is give you the short list of what I use.

So Here You Go:

  • WordPress SEO by Yoast
  • Akismet
  • Auto Tagger
  • Contextual Related Posts
  • Facebook Page Promoter Lightbox
  • FeedWeb
  • Google XML Sitemaps
  • JetPack by WordPress (I believe this is now included in all new installs)
  • Ultimate Google Analytics
  • WP OnlyWire Auto Poster
  • WP Super Cache

Again this is the short list but the point is that to install plugin on WordPress is very simple to do and it can be done from right on your dashboard and you can install plugin automatically.

As stated I like to keep it lean and mean so I only install a plugin that I really think I need. Also to be noted is that most if not all of the tools you need can be found for free from WordPress. Before you run out and start spending money on plugins check the install plugin page and make sure that something is not already available for free.

Again something I have learned along the way is that most of what I spent money for was available in one form or another already. I just did not know where to look.

I would also like to point out that while most of what I use is free, some is not. As an example would be Only Wire Auto Poster. The plugin install is free, the service is not.

With all of that being said watch the video below to learn how to install plugin automatically on WordPress.
